The active/passive pickups offer the player the best of both tones with the ability to select different pickup configurations with ease. Playability/Sound: This is a highly versatile bass. Pickups/Electronics: Kubicki hybrid active/passive hum cancelling pickups in the neck and bridge with stacked concentric volume/blend control, bass/treble control and a six position rotary switch to select between active and passive modes. Neck: Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, white fret markers and a 1 ¾” nut. Kubicki top-load bridge with 5 individually adjustable saddles, stacked concentric plastic control knobs and a Kubicki Factor logo. All electronics and parts are in excellent working condition.īody: Solid contoured alder body in black finish. Various surface scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the finish. The bass has been set up to play great despite the slight neck issue. The neck is otherwise very straight and the truss rod functions fine. This is a relatively common occurrence on longer scale bass necks. There is a slight dip in the neck around the 5 th fret most common on the bass side.
